With roots tracing back to the entrepreneurial fishing industry in the 1970s Rem Offshore has in recent years developed a strong presence in both the renewable, oil and gas and seismic OBN markets.

REM Growth

last 8 years

The Rem fleet is designed by experienced and recognised naval architects and built by specialised yards. Rem Offshore is aiming to expand its fleet with additional high spec vessels with cutting-edge technical capabilities.

2016

  • Established «new» Rem and injected 450 MNOK to grow in offshore service

2017

  • Purchased 6 vessels and onshore organisation from Vestland and Forland

2018

  • Acquired 3 vessels from Brage and entered node market with Aquarius

2019

  • Entered source market with conversion of Rem Andes
  • First W2W contract for Inspector
  • Returned to new office locations
  • Market conditions improving with higher oil price

2020

  • Purchased Rem Arctic
  • Newbuild contract for first dedicated CSOV
  • COVID-19 put REM under pressure for 2 years

2021

  • Took delivery of Rem Energy – onto long term contract for SGRE
  • Entered newbuild contract for two CSOVs at Vard
  • Entered purchase agreement for K-Line Offshore fleet with delivery in 2022

2022

  • Entered purchase agreement for Atlantic Offshore 2 X battery hybrid PSVs

2023

  • Delivery of first CSOV newbuild from Vard – Rem Power

2024

  • Delivery of second CSOV newbuild from Vard – Rem Wind

Environmental awareness is imperative for the organisation and is reflected through the mentality and core values of all employees, which has created an internal culture in the organisation to apply energy saving measures in all operations leading to a reduction in the total environmental footprint.

The Code of Conduct is principally designed to communicate our Company values to our employees, so that they may be a positive force within our day-to-day interactions, both internally and externally. In addition, this Code serves as a declaration to our clients, partners, suppliers and other business relations, indicating the Company’s commitment to ethical and honorable business practices.

Who we are

Transparency Act

The Transparency Act shall promote enterprises’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions as well as securing the general public’s access to information. The act imposes an information obligation and a duty to carry out due care assessments.

Rem Offshore’s efforts in complying with the act is carried out in accordance with OECD’s due diligence guidance for responsible business conduct. We are mapping our supplier chains concerning the risk areas comprised by the Transparency Act and we are contacting suppliers with elevated risk to provide us with additional information.
